What to Expect
No experience required. Our classes are designed to make everyone welcome and successful.
We encourage new clients to arrive 15 minutes early to get a tour and meet your instructor.
Wear yoga-like attire and bring a water bottle. We have filtered water and supply all props including a barre3 core ball, light weights, yoga strap, Pilates mat, and of course a ballet barre.
Socks are optional. We sell ToeSox at our studios because they have sticky soles and allow your feet to move freely.
We recommend starting by taking three classes in quick succession to experience our variety and benefits at barre3.
Class reservations are recommended but not required.
You can cancel a reservation up to 4 hours before class. Late cancellations or no-shows incur a $15.00 charge to accounts with an unlimited monthly membership OR the reduction of one class from a class package.
It's easy to fit exercise into your life when you can bring the kids. Minors under 18 years of age are welcome in childcare. If minors are on the premises while guardians are in class a valid childcare package must be purchased. Reservations are highly recommended. Please reserve under your name and not your child's name. Pregnant and postpartum clients
Moms-to-be and new moms love barre3. If you’re pregnant or postpartum, please consult with your doctor before taking barre3 classes.
If you have approval from your doctor, please arrive early to class and check in with your instructor, who will provide alternative postures appropriate for pregnant or postpartum clients.
Minors aged 14 and up are welcome to attend class with parent or guardian.
Clients 16-17 years of age will require a New Client Waiver to be signed by their parent or guardian. Clients 14-15 years of age will require a parent or guardian to accompany them during class.

As dancers know, the ballet barre is a wonderful prop designed to support the body in both static and dynamic movement leading to long, lean muscles. Barre3 evolves the dancer’s workout by combining the grace of the ballet barre with the wisdom of yoga and the strength of Pilates. Barre3 classes are set to an upbeat soundtrack and follow a vigorous pace moving through a sequence of postures designed to shape and lift the entire body.
Barre3 foundations is slower in pace than traditional barre3 classes but equally challenging. Instructors emphasize basic alignment, foundation, and specific muscle actions to balance the body.
